Director

Amy is a multi-award-winning filmmaker whose work has broadcast and screened internationally, including at BAFTA and Academy Award-qualifying festivals.

For over a decade, Amy has worked as a self-shooting producer-director of commercials, short films and documentaries, as well as in a variety of roles on feature films.

Prior to launching Amdani, she worked internationally as a filmmaker, including projects in London, Paris, and Rio de Janeiro, as well as teaching filmmaking to women working towards conflict resolution in Israel and Palestine.

Technician

Eddie is an award-winning cinematographer and freelance videographer, known for his work on Ysbrydion, which earned the Best LGBTQ Film award at the 61st Ann Arbor Film Festival.

In 2023, he was a nominee in the Canon Stories in Motion film competition for best scripted short.

Throughout his career, Eddie has worked with prominent clients including ITV, S4C, Universal Pictures, the Welsh Government, Aberystwyth University, Summerhouse, S&D Productions, and Light Em' Up.

Research Assistant

Joe is a versatile filmmaker and sustainability advocate who worked as a freelance videographer and editor from 2020 to 2024.

His clients have included Severn Screen & UKTV, The Grand Hotel (Birmingham), BBC, NATO & OECD (for Intrepid TV), Aberystwyth University, Arkbound Charity, Zero Carbon North Somerset, ITV, Hay Festival, Weathered Oak video and the Welsh Government.

Joe's expertise ranges from delivering corporate projects to music videos and indie films. He also served as a sustainability advisor on Severn Screen’s drama Mudtown.

In addition to his filmmaking, Joe contributes to sustainable practices at Amdani, where he is able to work on his passion for adapting to new technologies in film production.

Project Manager

Paddy has a background in graphic design, publishing, communications, policy and research. With over a decade of experience, he has collaborated with various arts, heritage, and research organisations across Wales. He was awarded a PhD in History in 2023.

Currently, Paddy serves as Project Manager for The Welsh New Wave short-film competition, where he also oversees broader communications and brand development for the company.
