By submitting an application to The Welsh New Wave, you consent to have your personal data stored by the Amdani in order to administer and report on the project to its project funders. As part of the application process for The Welsh New Wave, Amdani will collect the following personal data: Name, email address, phone number, and other contact details; Date of birth; Welsh-language ability; Any additional personal data information provided by the applicant in their application form or supporting documents.

Amdani will use the personal data collected via the application portal for the following purposes: To process and evaluate your application for the Welsh New Wave competition; To communicate with you regarding the status of your application and further participation; To administer the competition, including talent development programs and filmmaking projects for shortlisted participants; For legal and regulatory compliance, where necessary; and to report on project activity to the project's funders and future funders.

We will not share your personal data with third parties, except where necessary to: Involve industry professionals or partners as part of the judging process or talent development programs; comply with legal obligations or respond to lawful requests; and report on project activity to the project funders and future funders.

We will retain your personal data for as long as necessary to administer the Welsh New Wave competition and any associated talent development programs. After the competition concludes, we may retain limited personal data for historical or reporting purposes, funding applications, or legal purposes, in line with data protection laws.
